Ann Voorhees:  College and Career Coordinator

Community volunteers play a vital role in the number of ways we can support students at Westview High School and add great value and depth to our school. If you have an interest in participating in our volunteer mentoring program, ASPIRE, please contact the Westview High School College Career Center or the state ASPIRE website. We'd be delighted to have you involved!

College Rep over 200 virtual visits are underway through November 2020 for students.  Students, please check your Canvas Class page or the All Students Canvas page for the complete schedule  and links to attend the virtual visits. Parents may access the schedule of college visits in the weekly Wildcat newsletter.

These visits are for students, recommended 11th and 12th grades. This is a great way for students to learn information not found on colleges' websites. The reps conducting the visits are often the first readers of admissions applications.

Senior College Information Week Oct. 26th-29th: Sit in on a variety of presentations including financial aid & scholarships, 4 yr private schools, 4 yr public schools, community college, Oregon Promise, art schools, and essay writing. For the complete schedule of presentations & presentation links, see the Senior College Information page on the BSD website.
